okayy, i had should post this since last friday.
but, nahh nevermind.

a week before, i just started a new hobby of mine which is reading.
haha, mesty tak percaye kann.
but seriously mann, i'm having fun doing that :)
i read some books of Mr. Midninght. it was my favourite books though.
i read it since i was fourteen i guess. and now, i got some collection of the books. woohoo !

then, i found a book titled 'OUR ICEBERG IS MELTING'.
haa, tengok cover book pown da menarikk nie. its got some penguins pictures.
it is written by john kotter and holger rathegeber.

synopsis of this book :

our iceberg is melting is a simple fable about doing well in an ever-changing world. it's about a penguin colony in antartica. a group of beautiful emperor penguins live as they have for many years. then one curious bird discovers a potentially devastating problem threatening their home. their tale is one resistance to change and heroic action, seemingly intractable obstacles and the most clever tactics for dealing with those obstacles.

here, just wanna share some morals from the book.
throughout the book, i gained the eight steps of succesful changes.

1. you need to create a sense of urgency

this is where you help others to see the need of change and the importnace of acting immediately.

2. pull together the guiding team

here, you make sure there is powerful group guiding the change which one with the leadership skills, credibility and so on.

3. now, you develop the change vision and strategy

clarify how the future will be different from the past

4. then, you need to communicate for understanding

you should make sure others understand and accept the vision and strategy.

5. empower others to act aggresively

you need to remove all barriers so that those who want to make the vision a reality can do so.

6. produce short-term wins

this will create some visible, unambigious successes A.S.A.P

7. never let up

press harder and more faster after the first success

8. last one, create a new culture

need to hold on the new ways of behaving and make sure they succeed :)

daa abes bace buku nie, baru tao yg this book actually belongs to my father, ngee :)
and now i'm starting to read SISTER which written by daniel steel

enjoy listening (:
